When asked to provide the musical score for any project, it is important for us at Jay McCarrol Studios to discuss and understand the artistic vision of the director.  The same questions would apply to a short film as with a full feature.  Questions to the director might include:  Where is it necessary to add any music?  What type of emotion is most prominent in this film?  Should the music be telling a story or just be conveying a mood?
